wandering in worn out shoes

hi guys! i've been blogging so much lately haha and today was especially fun because i had my school's induction programme in the morning and in the afternoon i went out with my friend to explore and have lunch/dinner together. it was really fun meeting my new classmates, lecturers and settling into my new school :) everyone was really friendly and nice especially the people in my class. in the afternoon, my friend and i decided to go exploring around outram park area and it was pretty cool [ i didn't bring my camera so there aren't any nice photos for this post, sorry! ] anyways, here's a bit of what we did today:

we ate at a nearby coffee shop and the owner was so nice // these are char siew noddles and they tastes really good :)
i had coffee while my friend had ice lemon tea

after our meal, we wandered under the hdb blocks and found sooo many cute cafes
we went in and had a great catch up over coffee :)

after the coffee and spending so much time talking, we chanced upon this little shop that sells really rad and nice things!
(they were really expensive though)

today was really fun thanks to my friend for accompanying me and once again i apologise for the absence of human beings in this post.

just keep swimming ~

hi guys! i'm back on my three days two nights fishing trip and i'm sad to say that this trip was quite a failure :( i hardly caught any fishes and if i did catch any, they'd be small and inedible. anyways, i caught some really nice shots of the sea and the scenery. hope you guys enjoy the photos x ( sorry for the inconsistent photo size, best viewed on a laptop )

just to sum it up, this trip was a relaxing one even though we didn't catch any fish haha.
i got to spend some fun time with nature and woke up everyday hearing the sound of waves ~
my school's starting soon and hopefully i'll be able to keep up with everyone and do well :)

enjoy your own company

Today was kind of fun spending some time alone in the park and wandering around taking photos, it was raining so the whole park was kind of deserted. Since the sky was rather dark, the pictures turned out kind of gloomy but i hope you'll like them! (i was alone so sorry for the absence of people in my photos) (btw i made the photos bigger for you viewing convenience:) 

 

the day started off pretty well,

i had these delicious macarons and my daily dose of coffee :)

by the time i reached the park, 

it started drizzling so i sat by the pavement (where there is a shelter) and took some photos.

i really like the ripple effect :)

as you can see, the park was super quiet and deserted haha

on my way home, i went to get some snacks for my upcoming fishing trip!

time you enjoy wasting is not wasted time

hello everyone!
it's been quite a while since i updated my blog (that shows how boring my life can be haha) Anyways, yesterday my sister and i decided to go out and have brunch :) we haven't really hang out much after her engagement, so we went to town and had TWG for brunch (her treat) it was so yummy and we had a good brunch together :) "it's good when food taste good, it's kind of like proof you're alive". hope you guys enjoy the photos x

we had cake and scones and everything was really cute

after brunch, we decided to window shop a little since we're in town and everything; we went to warehouse, forever 21 and lots of different shops :) 

since my sister stayed near town, i visited her humble abode hehehe and raided her fridge and guess what? these little chocolate rounds are like the best thing ever :)
